Wi-Fi

The University provides both eduroam and UoB Guest wireless services in all campus wireless locations.

Visitors capable of using eduroam should do so in preference to UoB Guest (eduroam will give you a far better user experience, is much faster and gives access to internal resources). Visitors that don’t have access to eduroam can easily connect to UoB Guest:

1. Connect to the UoB Guest wireless signal.
2. Your device will ask you to sign in to the Wi-Fi network.
3. You will be asked to select an authentication method – the quickest and easiest method is to use either your Google, Facebook or Twitter account. Alternatively, you can opt to receive a code via SMS text message.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to get connected.

Train

Visitors arriving by train should come to Temple Meads, from where the university campus is a short walk, bus, or taxi ride.

Bus

FirstGroup operate the majority of local buses in Bristol. To find out more about timetables and journey plans, visit their website at www.firstbus.co.uk.

Tourist Information
